The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs (NCAVP) has learned of the intimate partner violence related homicide of Gerald Moore, which occurred on June 24, 2017. According to local media reports, Gerald died after being stabbed multiple times by Ronald Redeaux. AVP learns of an anti-gay attack in Chelsea, Manhattan

AVP has learned of an anti-gay attack which occurred on Monday afternoon, June 26th, 2017 at Sixth Avenue and West 26th Street in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. According to media reports, a man using a walker that had a pro-LGBTQ sticker on it was physically attacked by a man yelling anti-gay slurs.
