AVP’s hotline hours are changing.
Beginning Monday, August 10th, our new live hotline hours are:
Monday–Thursday
10 a.m.–6 p.m EST
Friday
10 a.m.–2 p.m EST
During live hours, AVP remains available to provide crisis support, safety planning, resources, and referrals.
Live after-hours hotline support will be paused, including overnight and on weekends.
What Does This Mean For You?
You can still call AVP overnight and on weekends, leave a message, and we’ll get back to you within 2 business days.
We recognize that reduced access to live support can bring up fear and concern.
Violence doesn’t keep business hours and the safest moment to ask for help may come at any time.
Our commitment to supporting LGBTQ+ survivors remains unwavering, and we are working to restore 24/7 live hotline support.

You may come across content on our site and channels still listing AVP’s hotline as 24/7. We are working on updating it.
