AVP has learned of an anti-LGBTQ incident which occurred which took place on May 26th, 2017 on Miller Avenue and Fulton Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn at around 4:10 a.m. in the morning. AVP has learned of an anti-LGBTQ incident which occurred on a Q train in Brooklyn on Saturday, May 20th at about 7:30pm. According to media reports, a man attacked a woman and her girlfriend while shouting homophobic slurs as the train pulled into the DeKalb Station. Antoine Thomas, 27, was apprehended in connection with the attack. One of the survivors required medical attention at Brooklyn Methodist Hospital for the severity of their injuries.
