Community Meeting: Upstander Training

August 31, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

hands gripping each other, text reads: an upstander is a person who intervenes to support someone being harassed, intimidated, discriminated against, attacked, bullied, or otherwise dehumaized.

New York City Anti-Violence Project is hosting a virtual Upstander Intervention Training. In these uncertain times, we must show up for our community and the most vulnerable among us. Learn about verbal de-escalation tactics as well as intervening against violence.

Sign up now to be a part of the training and discussion.

Protect LGBTQ+ Lives: Support Free Legal Aid

This year’s work has been rooted in difficult realities for LGBTQ+ survivors. And we’re still here, still queer, and still showing up for our people.

Every dollar you give between now and the end of the year will shape our planning for 2026 services, programs, and community outreach.

Join us as we keep fighting for our community by donating today.
