Bar Safety Canvassing March 2023 – Queens

AVP is monitoring continuing reports of suspicious or violent activity in and around LGBTQ nightlife spaces.
We want to get the word out to community about how they can stay safe, and build awareness around potential threats to those out in the nightlife scene.
This month we are going to Astoria, Queens to canvass and give helpful tips and resources to community on how to stay safe. We are meeting at Icon Bar (31-84 33rd St, Astoria, NY 11106).
