Bar Safety Canvassing April 2023 – Brooklyn

AVP is monitoring continuing reports of suspicious or violent activity in and around LGBTQ nightlife spaces. 

We want to get the word out  about how folks can stay safe and connect with AVP for support, and build awareness around potential threats to those out in the nightlife scene.

This month we are going to Bedford Stuyvesant (Bed-Stuy), Brooklyn to canvass and give helpful tips and resources to the community about AVP programs and hotline information, as well as basic safety suggestions. We are meeting at C’mon Everybody on Wednesday, April 19th at 5:45.
