Our Pride, Our Safety Pledge

I pledge to support “Our Pride, Our Safety” AVP’s community-led safety campaign. I will do my part to help our communities determine what we need to be safe and work together to keep each other safe.

I will work collaboratively to build other models of safety with trusted fellow community members and organizations, centering the needs of those most impacted by violence instead of relying on institutions that continue to cause harm.

I am committed to helping AVP build a greater understanding about the importance of community-led safety.

I will share this campaign with others and help spread the message of Our Pride, Our Safety.

I believe we all can play a role in building a safe community. And, by taking steps to make it safer for those who are most marginalized and affected by violence, we create a safer climate for everyone.
