NCAVP mourns the death of Brendon Michaels, a 43 year-old white gay man in Baltimore, Maryland. Police officers and firefighters found Brendon Michaels inside his home in Midtown Baltimore on Nov. 8. His death was ruled a “homicide from trauma.” Brendon’s alma mater and long-time employer, Carroll Community College, has created a fund in Michaels’ memory. “Our dear friend and colleague brightened the lives of so many and we know he would love to brighten the lives of Carroll students. We will miss him dearly,” reads the tribute.
