get involved Become an AVP Volunteer AVP is always in need of volunteers, for special events, as well as for longer-term participation in our various programs. If you are interested, simply fill out our Volunteer Information Form. Volunteer Hotline Trainings in 2010 Our next 40-hour training schedule is as follows:
Upon successful completion, volunteers will be New York State Department of Health Certified Rape Crisis Counselors. We ask that volunteers make a year-long commitment to volunteer with AVP once a month, if possible.
